Hi my name is Marlene. I’ve always been very passionate about makeup, health, and fashion. As I got older that passion grew stronger, but what also grew was my passion for empowering single moms. I’m a single mom to a handsome, intelligent, and sweet young man name Jacob. He is truly my heart and the apple of my eye. I’ve wanted to start a blog for awhile now that would feature not only makeup, health, and fashion but everyday life. I want to be part of a community where women uplift and empower each other. You see my story wasn’t suppose to end this way. I was suppose to be happily married to a wonderful God fearing man, have 3 children, a great Nursing career, and a big beautiful home in the burbs with a white picket fence around it. So I thought!! Although all the desires of my heart have not yet been fulfilled I know that I am here for a purpose. I trust that God has a plan for me. With this blog I hope to inspire, empower, encourage, and bless women of all different walks. Please join me on this adventure we call life and lets learn from one another.
